ボリュームも味も、全部最高です。
老夫婦で経営している小さい店なので、予約は対応できません。
駐車は周りのコインパーキングで。

The volume and taste are all the best.
It's a small shop run by an elderly couple, so reservations cannot be made.
Parking is at the coin parking around.

そして気持ちの良い食事を楽しむことが出来ます。ミックスグリルはボリュームたっぷりですが、濃過ぎる味付けではないので、最後まで美味しくいただきました。
A long-established Western-style restaurant. Be careful of manners in the queue outside the store.
And you can enjoy a pleasant meal. The mixed grill is generous, but it's not too seasoned, so it was delicious until the end.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place have a special place in my heart. The beef stew is totally recommended. You definitely have to cue up for an hour or so. Obachan can't speak English but she has an English menu and very helpful. Definitely worth stopping by.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best hamburg steaks I had in a few cities in Jpn. The owner is friendly and caring. On a weekday, the tables filled up quite soon and they were all local people. Had a beef stew, garlic rice and hamburg steak and they were all fantastic. We later took away Katsu-sand as well and the owner ensured us to eat it on the same night for the best flavour. Definitely going back again this year!

It looked hard that the stuff worked by herself on this day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the best Japanese style beef stew I’ve ever had was at this place, which was entered into Tabelog’s top 100 restaurants in Japan for 2020. Tabelog is Japan’s premier review site for restaurants.
Together with the beef stew I ordered their buttered toast. A very thick generous slice of bread toasted just right, and was the perfect compliment to the stew.
It’s a small, cozy place that also seems to be their home, so it has a lot of character.
Just a few things... the serving of beef stew is a bit small, but that’s basically normal in Japan. It’s also probably healthier that way as well.
Also, they only have a squat style toilet. Better hold that number two of yours if you can’t handle this relic from the good old days.
Finally, they only take cash. That’s probably not a big deal for most people, but I just really hate paying with cash and don’t understand why in 2021, popular places like this restaurant still don’t accept any form of e-payment. This is the main reason I gave it one less star.
Another thing to take note of for foreigners is that they expect you to write your order on a piece of paper, and I don’t know if they have an English menu. They seem to be really nice and friendly though, so I’m pretty sure they’ll help you out.
