★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 笠のように張り出した岩の下に社殿があることから岩笠稲荷大明神と名付けられたのでしょうか。謂れは不明です。こちらに行くには仙山線の踏切のない線路を渡らねばならないことと、社殿の上のオーバーハングした岩の圧迫感で非常に緊張感のある神社です。参道の入口を巨大な倒木が塞いでいて、来るものを拒むかのようです。
 Was it named Iwagasa Inari Daimyojin because the shrine is located under the rock that overhangs like a shade? The so-called is unknown. It is a very tense shrine because you have to cross the Senzan Line without railroad crossings and the overhanging rocks on the shrine are oppressive. A huge fallen tree is blocking the entrance to the approach, and it seems as if it refuses to come.
