★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2019/4/13拝受 真言宗智山派。平成10年に再建された本堂（不動堂）の彫刻が見事です。また、向拝の天井には雲龍図が描かれたおり必見です。気が付かなかったら残念。北関東三十六不動尊霊場第29番札所の御朱印（本尊五大明王）を頂きました！
2019/4/13 Received the Shingon sect Chiyama school. The sculpture of the main hall (Fudodo), rebuilt in 1998, is wonderful. Also, it is a must to see a cloud dragon drawing drawn on the ceiling of the worship. Sorry if you do not notice. I received the seal (honson five great akira kings) of the 29th Fudasho place in North Kanto thirty-six Fudoson relic ground!

You need to be careful because you can easily miss the entrance though you go down the slope from the national highway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 元明天皇の和銅2年（709）、明道上人が開基したと伝わります。創建当初は鹿島神宮境内に建立されていました。神宮不断の護摩所との勅号を受け、国家安穏の護摩祈祷を奉修することから別名「護摩堂」とも呼ばれていた。有り難く、北関東三十六不動29番の御朱印、本尊”五大明王”を頂きました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ タイミング悪くなのか留守っぽくて朱印はもらえませんでした。護国院は護摩堂も大師堂も歴史を感じさせます。木造で色褪せてる感じがたまりません。
I didn't get the red stamp because I was absent because of the bad timing. Gokokuin makes you feel the history of both Gomadou and Daishido. The wooden structure is irresistible.
