湯の花浮かぶ熱めのとろみのある温泉。西山温泉のお湯はどれも素晴らしい。本当の温泉。
浴室に温泉神社があります。浮かんだ湯気が木漏れ日に照らされとても神秘的な空間。
何故か僕の行った日は真ん中の浴槽が適温だった。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 川縁まで降りると神社と3つの湯船。湯船の温度はそれぞれ調整可能です。川縁の戸は大きく引き開けることができて官位露天風呂のようです。オーナーのご家族がとても気さくでとても雰囲気いいです。おすすめ。
When you get down to the river edge, there is a shrine and three baths. The temperature of the bathtub can be adjusted individually. The riverside door can be pulled wide and it looks like a public bath. The family of the owner is very friendly and has a very good atmosphere. Recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 温泉は卵スープに近い味のする独特なもの。孵卵臭のする塩化物泉だと思います。だしのような旨味があるのです。源泉かけ長しのため温度調整が難しく、源泉が流れてくる主たる流れる量を石で調整して適温になるようにしてるようですが、なかなか温くはならないようです。1つの浴室しかない露天風呂であり女性にはそこが厳しいかも。泊まりで行けば先客が誰もいなければ女風呂にできる(女性入浴中、みたいな看板をはって女性が占有できる)ので女性がいる場合泊まりがオススメ。ただし宿はカメムシが大量に出て今したので注意が必要です。ご飯、みそ汁だけが付く半湯治プランが大人6000円で季節の山菜等も出してくれ満足できました。

However, it is necessary to be careful as accommodation has a large amount of bugs. I could be satisfied with the fact that a half-bodied plan with only rice and miso soup served with 6,000 yen for adults and also served seasonal vegetables.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ネットで調べていて、偶然発見。日帰り9時からと出ていたので伺いましたが、10時からでした！どこかの情報違うので気を付けて下さい。
とは言っても、早く行ってしまったせいか、玄関入るとすぐの広間で旅館のご家族が朝御飯の最中でした。そんな飾らないアットホームな雰囲気も和みました！
満を持していざ入浴。風情のある階段を降りると、脱衣場ひとつに、３つの浴槽！(写真見てください)奥には温泉神社が祀られてます。
そうです、ここは混浴です！でも、他にお客さんもいなかったので、独泉できました。
後で知りましたが、こちらつげ義春の温泉本にも登場する、通の方には有名な温泉だったようです。
３つある浴槽は、どれも熱さが違うそうなんですが、私が入った時はどれもそんなに差はなかったです。
とにかくインパクトのある、秘湯好きにはヨダレの出る温泉ですよ〰️☺️

Yes, this is a mixed bath! But there were no other customers, so I was able to stay alone.
As I learned later, this hot spring that appeared in this hot spring book by Yoshiharu Tsuge seems to be a famous hot spring.
All three bathtubs seem to have different heat, but when I entered, there wasn't much difference.
Anyway, it's a hot spring that has an impact and is a hot spring for those who like secret baths.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 日帰りで利用しました。源泉かけ流しで褐色の透明なお湯でした。数人がはいれる湯船が並んで3個ありそれぞれ源泉の流入量で湯温を変えているのだと思いますが自分が行ったときはタイミングが悪かったのか全部熱くて入るのがたいへんでした。源泉そのものはかなり熱かったです。明るく開放感のある古い建物で浴室内に神社があり歴史的な雰囲気を感じられて最高です。男女別なし混浴のみで脱衣所も共用でした。他のお客さんがいなかったので借り切り状態でしたが他のお客さんがいるとちょっと気を使ってしまいそうです。

Since there were no other customers, it was in a state of being chartered, but it seems that I will be a little worried if there are other customers.

前から行きたくて、来月行ければと思っていて、電話で確認したところ、
宿泊も日帰り入浴もコロナでしばらく休業するとのことです。
残念、来年只見線全線復旧の時にでも宿泊できればと思います。
私の中で、西山温泉と言えば、ここ老沢温泉旅館しかないので、来年頑張ってオープンしていただきたいものです。
