d	doc ichigo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 映画「ローマの休日」でオードリーヘプバーンが頬張ってたジェラートのお店。ジェラートは濃厚でこってりとしたテクスチャなので、夏はフレーバーの選び方は工夫した方がよいかも？日本的なフレーバーが結構あってびっくり。（イタリアらしさを全面にしてもよいのにー）わたしは、ピスタチオとほうじ茶のダブルにしたら、色が似すぎて全然映えなかった、、、笑個人的には、濃厚なこってり系と、フルーツなどのさっぱり系で、味に変化をつけるのが良いかなと思いました！ A gelato shop where Audrey Hepburn was cheering in the movie "Roman Holiday". Gelato has a rich and thick texture, so it may be better to devise a way to choose the flavor in the summer. I was surprised that there were quite a few Japanese flavors. (It's okay to make it all over Italy) When I doubled the pistachio and roasted green tea, the colors were so similar that they didn't look good at all ... lol Personally, I thought it would be good to change the taste with a rich thick type and a refreshing type such as fruit!

As a big fan of the original Giolitti in Rome, the Shinjuku-ku branch has nothing in common with the original shop. 1000 yen for a small gelato, rude staff that completely ignores clients inquiries and multiple flavors sold out after less than 1h from the opening. Almost any other gelato shop in Tokyo is a better choice.

The lemon is deliciously tart and the mango sweet and creamy. Dark chocolate is intense! Opt for the cone, its superb. No English menu.

I think they might have toppings too, because they asked me something about "nama-kuriimu (whipped cream)." Some other reviews said the staff was rude, but they were very nice to me (although it wasn't busy at the time). Cons: It is very expensive, my triple scoop in a cup cost over ¥900 (cones cost a bit more), so be ready to pay. Some flavors may be sold out when you go. And the atmosphere, being underground and standing room only, could be potentially dreary, but when I went on a weeknight it wasn't crowded so it felt fine.
M	Mauro Bellati on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A really authentic amazing Italian gelato. Very high quality ingredients. Pistachio and dark chocolate are superb. Also the cone biscuit is excellent I suggest you do get the cone instead of the cup.
