★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great for photography. Just walking distance from Shin Nagata Station. There's a plaza nearby, Asuta West Plaza. In the plaza, there's a chocolate shop where you can buy for souvenirs. The shop is on your left a the entrance of the plaza.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An open park/playground with some sort of “small” walking street nearby. It’s quite far from Kobe, but still worth it to make a visit here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a nice place to visit if you are in the Kobe area. Only a few stations over by train. The statue is really cool, even the light posts have Gigantor on them. Many shops and restaurants in the vicinity as well. The area is a little dirty though, there was a lot of trash blowing around when I went there. I was a bit surprised considering how clean most of Japan is.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a cool site to visit to see the symbol of the city reborn from the earthquake. Such a neat area. It's located next to the station and shopping area making it very easy to get to in the area. I liked that the route leading up to it had little lights in the shape of the robot. ??✌️?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very cool and distinctive monument with a somewhat sad yet uplifting back story. It is much bigger in real life than one might imagine from just looking at pictures. It’s a great place for a picture, and there’s a playground right next to it if you have any young children.
