長尾線は路線自体は県道10号長尾バイパスと並行しているものの、大型商店が主に道路沿いに出店している関係で、駅周辺はコンビニすらないようなところが多いのですが、当駅はショッピングモールに隣接しているのでその点では便利です。
ただそのショッピングモール自体も、賑わいは今ひとつな感じはしないでもないです。
後付けの駅なので、1面1線の棒線駅で駅舎もありません。エレベーターはありませんが、入口はスロープになっています。

Since it is a retrofit station, it is a bar line station with one line on each side and there is no station building. There is no elevator, but the entrance is a slope.
