★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is a really nice view, clear water for fishing ?, I saw many jellyfishes in the water. It is good photo spot, amazingly quiet for couples’ romance. But its location was not easy to access.

This beautiful day may be a bit far for amanohashidate but is totally worth it to come
You can rent bike for free and and discover for you own all the small photo spots.
Unfortunately by current situation of COVID there is no boat( ferry) service.
We catch a nice SUNY !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Funaya, a lovely and quiet fishing village. The houses are built along the sea. You can see a row of houses built along the ocean. There is 24-hour parking available on the beach itself. The first one hour of parking is free. You will see a lot of people camping overnight in their cars and fishing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted to visit this place for a while and we finally did it, on a winter day it was snowing a lot but we enjoy it very much, the snow made it a really calm and relaxing atmosphere, we headed to the cafe and enjoyed the view from there, i believe this small town is beautiful in every season, your choice to pick the one you prefer

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Funaya and the Ine Boathouses are together called lovingly "The Venice of Japan". The peaceful village by the water embodies the marvels of architecture. The calm and peaceful vibes of the place transports you to your happy place. This place can be reached by a bus from the Amanohashidate Bus Stop in front of the station. Do set aside some time for this and you would return a happy person!
