★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昔は書店や床屋にパチンコ屋まで在りましたが今は数軒の個人店と京急ストアがあるだけになりました。
In the past, there were bookstores and barbershops up to pachinko shops, but now there are only a few private stores and Keikyu stores.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2021年2月に訪問。アーケードの天蓋と照明は撤去され、青空が覗いていました。鉄骨の枠組みだけが哀愁を残しています。商店は大方個人住宅に建て替えられています。数少ない営業している店は京急ストアと葬儀サービスだけ。レストラン「らんぶる」はコロナ禍で休業中でした。再開したら行ってみたいですね。
Visited in February 2021. The canopy and lights of the arcade were removed, and the blue sky was peeping. Only the steel frame leaves melancholy. Most of the shops have been rebuilt into private houses. The only stores that are open are the Keikyu Store and the funeral service. The restaurant "Ranburu" was closed due to the corona virus. I would like to go when it resumes.

アーケードが完全に撤去されました。
晴れた日には青空が望め、明るくなりました。

昭和の時代には結構店舗も多く、おもちゃ屋やお菓子屋などがあった事を微かに覚えているが、今では典型的なシャッター街になってしまった。
その中にあって郵便局だけは古い建物から、新しく移転して綺麗になった。
通りを覆っていたアーケードも老朽化して撤去が進んでいる。
近々すべてが取り払われると言う話を聞いている。
このアーケードは、横須賀中央の三笠通りが現在のビルとして開発された際に、それまで掛けられていたものを譲り受けたもの。
通りに面した土地も新しく建つのは個人宅であり、徐々に商店街であった名残も無くなって行きますね。

The arcade that covered the street is also aging and is being removed.

This arcade was inherited from what had been hung when Mikasa-dori in the center of Yokosuka was developed as the current building.
The land facing the street will also be newly built as a private residence, and the remnants of the shopping district will gradually disappear.
