D	Daisuke Matsuyama on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 西新宿の盲点と呼ぶべきエリアにあるお蕎麦屋さん。新宿中央公園の先にある。駅で言うとどこも近いとは言えず、まさに地元の人のための蕎麦屋といったところだろうか。入口はすこし入り込んだところにあり、ちょっと見つけづらい。中に入ると食券制で食券買うとすぐに席に案内される。天そばを今回は注文。1000円を超えてこないので西新宿エリアのランチとしては安すぎず高すぎず。スピードが命というか、そばも天ぷらも先に用意されていたようで麺がくっついていたり、ちょっと天ぷらが油強めだったり。ただ、ボリュームはそれなりにあってコスパよし。味も絶妙な店の味、家では食べられない業務用独特のうまさ。中央公園の散歩コースを終えて、この心地よさを邪念に邪魔されずランチまで繋げたいと思えば確かに多くの人が推している意味がわかる。雰囲気の良さがにじみ出ているのだ。 A soba restaurant in an area that should be called a blind spot in Nishi-Shinjuku. K	K N on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 最高の普通！入り口より入り食券を買い入っていく店。入り口前に灰皿があり喫煙者がいることが多いし、店もごった返す感じで人によっては入りにくいかもしれない。しかし、意を決して入ってみふとまず現れるのが巨大な券売機。何をいただこうと色々目移りしながら肉うどんをチョイス。茹で加減も最高でツユも美味く、とても心地よいうどんだった? 関東育ちであれば、これがうどんだよなという感じ。なので、最高の普通というに似つかわしいうどんだった。蕎麦やラーメンなどもあるので今度食べに行ってみようと思う。 The best ordinary! The ocha was super hot and delicious. Highly recommended and so reasonably priced. I will eat here every time I travel to Tokyo. The seating area is small compared to western standards but the food is awesome. Thank you to the owners who made us feel so welcome.

Cozy, warm and full of nice people, and the food was spectacular. Learned how to serve and drink sochu, the tempura was light and crisp and the noodles and broth were spectacular. We will be sure to stop in again when we return to Japan! Just down the street, be sure to check out the amazing wall art!
