★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 高速バスから長岡中心地へ向かうバスへの乗り継ぎがネック。
長岡駅ー長岡北入口ー出雲崎車庫行、蓮花寺行き(越後交通)のバスが少なく、接続も必ずしも良くはない。運賃310円。
ただし、裏技としては長岡駅ー新潟駅行高速バスが双方ともに長岡北で乗降可能で、それを使うのも手(しかも安い)。
なお23時-6時の時間帯は運行していない。
駐輪場もあるが、夜間は国道８号からの接続道路(バス通り)の街頭が一切なく歩道も突如幅が変わるところがあり側溝に突っ込む危険性があるので注意。
降雪期間の歩道の状況は不明。またバス停自体も清掃が行き届いておらず不衛生。風を凌ぐ場所は階段のみという有り様で降雪期間はあまりおすすめできない場所です。
近くのコンビニ(ファミマ)までは徒歩５分。
長岡中心部方面ではすき家までが徒歩15分
快活クラブまでが徒歩18分。
比較的本数が多いリバーサイド千秋前のセンタープラザバス停までは徒歩35分。
タクシー会社は複数あります。長岡駅から大手大橋経由で長岡北バス亭まで深夜帯で2700円でした。
