★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 本堂が非常に個性的なデザインですが、れっきとした真言宗建長寺派の歴史有る寺院です。
高台に有る見晴らしの良い立地で中世には地元の豪族の館として使われていたとか江戸期は寺子屋であったとの寺伝が有ります。また明治期にはこの地に小学校が開設されたとの事で境内には「中神教育発祥の地」の碑が有りました。このような寺伝の案内看板が門前にあったのですが、残念ながら字がかすれて読めない位にボロボロでした。
The main hall has a very unique design, but it is a temple with a long history of the Shingon sect.
There is a temple with a good view on the hill that was used as a local Australian palace in the Middle Ages and was a temple in the Edo period. In addition, an elementary school was established in this area during the Meiji period, and there was a monument of “the birthplace of Nakagami education” in the precincts. There was such a signboard for temples in front of the gate, but unfortunately it was so tatter that it was too difficult to read.

高台にあり、駐車場からは富士山も見えます。
I visited in the New Year.
It is located on a hill and you can see Mt. Fuji from the parking lot.
