Fujitsu Shrine - Maizuru

Fujitsu Shrine is located in the southern part of Maizuru City, Kyoto Prefecture. This shrine is located on a small hill on the southeastern side of "Okawabashi" over the "Yura River" in Kamihigashi, Maizuru City, Kyoto Prefecture. Deity Fujitsu Daimeijin It is the Ujigami of the Joto region. It is a relatively new and beautiful shrine that was relocated due to the replacement work of "Okawabashi" in 2008, and it seems that it is carefully organized by the local residents, and wisteria, cherry blossoms, azaleas, etc. are planted. .. In the precincts, there are magnificent company name stones, torii gates, lanterns, thousand stones, Koshinto, guardian dogs, main shrine, Setsumatsusha, and Yakushido. A company name stone engraved with "Fujitsu Shrine" is built at the entrance of the approach along National Route 175. Both parts of the torii are covered with a flat frame marked "Fujitsu Shrine". I have seen Hyakudoishi before, but I have never seen Hyakudoishi. A Koshinto tower with the inscription "Ansei Roku Mi New Year's Day" stands beside the Senju stone. The main shrine of Nagare-zukuri in the shroud is covered with a flat frame marked "Fujitsu Sansha Daimyojin". Setsumatsusha includes Akiba Shrine, Atago Shrine, and Inari Shrine. Behind the shrine of the mountain god, there is a stone pillar with a pair of straw sandals. Fujitsu on the east side of Okawabashi seems to have been used as a ferry port for the Yura River water transport that connects Tamba and Tango and a ferry that connects the opposite bank until the first year of the Meiji era. The "Okawabashi" over the "Yura River" near the shrine was the first to build a "Funabashi" made by arranging boards on a ship from Fujitsu to the opposite bank in the 30's of the Meiji era. In the 1980s, "Itabashi" was built, and it became "Dobashi" in the early Showa period. However, because the bridge broke every time the flood occurred, the Okawa Bridge, which was rebuilt as a permanent bridge in 1953, was erected, and in 2008 it was rebuilt into a magnificent one.
