Great place to learn the basics of skiing and snowboarding. Tip...if you're a super beginner like me, buy a 3 or 4 times lift instead of a 1 day or half day pass.

Smaller ski area, but the view of Fuji is spectacular. Despite the small size, they have a good mix of terrain difficulty as well as a mogul field and terrain park. A half day (weekday) ticket is only 3000 yen as well. Ah absolutely amazing value.

Just visited this place last January. We have a great experience. The place was nice and accessible. From Kawaguchiko eki, there is a bus that would bring you here. Ticket cost ¥3000, roundtrip with ¥1000 coupon that can be use in the resort. Once you entered te resort, the beautiful Mt. Fuji will welcome you. There is also a restaurant with affordable foods to choose. You can also rent board, boots, jacket and pants (¥5500 for halfday) for snowboarding. Ski is also available for rent. This is one of the best place for beginners. You'll never get bored because the stunning Mt. Fuji will give you the best view. So near. So beautiful.

Place is ok, but ski slopes are limited and quite short, the snow is artificial and it was crowded. It’s a good option for beginners. If you really like to ski then go a little farther and you’ll find much better places.

If you have small children or never been skiing/snowboarding/sledding, this is good for first timers. If you fall into the other categories, you will find this a little boring. The snow is not real; as advertised. Kids area was surprisingly small. Overall, it was an ok experience considering we just got out of COVID-19 SOE.

Lines can be kind of long but the runs are pretty good. Nice long ski park for advanced righters. Wouldn't exactly call it great for beginners though. Amazing view of Fuji though!

Small resort about an hour from Tokyo. 4 lifts, a beginners area and a snow play park. The terrain park looks like it will be awesome with more snow. Great place for beginners with PLENTY of parking, changing rooms and lockers. There’s a daycare on site, web reservations recommended, as well as a ski school. They can do lessons in English but you need to register for lessons online and let them know. Great for day trips. There’s an onsen affiliated with the resort that I’ll have to check out next time.
