納骨堂にある、休憩用のテラスでは落ち着ける椅子が置いてあり、紅葉のお庭とお寺を眺めながらゆったりできました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 本堂にある、京都の絵師が奉納した花の天井画が美しいと聞き、訪問しました。
普元寺は西尾市にあるお寺で、「ふがんじ」と読みます。鎌倉時代に開創されたそうです。
平日の午前中に訪問しましたが、本堂の美しい天井画を見ながら、とても静かで落ち着いた時を過ごすことができました。
本堂の中には、「己書」の展示もありました。
普元寺では、「写経」「日曜法話会」「お寺ヨガ」「水彩画教室」「落語会」など10種類以上の学びの場や遊びの場を提供されているそう。
不定期ですが、お寺でフレンチレストランも提供されているそうです。
古くからあるものを大切にしながらも、地元に根付いた場所となるよう、新しいものを取り入れているお寺です。
本堂の奥にあるお手洗いもおかりしましたが、木の作りが美しい、とても綺麗なお手洗いでした！

The restroom in the back of the main hall was also removed, but the wooden structure was beautiful and it was a very beautiful restroom!
