★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 管理人不在の避難小屋です。二階建てで、積雪期は二階からも入られるようになっています。近くに水場はないので、往復30分位で8号目避難小屋へ行きましょう。
It is an evacuation hut without a caretaker. It is a two-story building, and it is possible to enter from the second floor during the snowy season. There is no water place nearby, so let's go to the 8th evacuation hut in about 30 minutes round trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 岩手山山頂に最も近い避難小屋。十数名は収容できると思われる。清掃がきちんとなされ，きれいである。トイレがあるが，臭いがきつい。バイオによる分解のためだろう。
Evacuation hut closest to the summit of Iwateyama. It seems that more than a dozen people can be accommodated. Cleaning is neat and clean. There is restroom, but smell is severe. Probably because of biodegradation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 岩手山山頂に近い避難小屋。近いと言っても1時間近くはある。設備は良い。小屋内は広く頑丈でどんな悪天候でも問題ない。水場はない。携帯はかろうじてつながる程度(AU)。展望は最高。
A shelter hut near the top of Iwate volcano. It's close to an hour even if saying it is close. Equipment is good. The interior of the cabin is large and robust, and no problem occurs in any bad weather. There is no water field. Mobile is barely connected (AU). The outlook is the best.

9合目？かなぁ
水場は有りません。
トイレ有り。ポットんです。
コの字に小上がりになってる板間です。
雨風は防げます。
8月でも夜は10度前後。
ここから山頂まで60分かかりませんね
It is an unmanned evacuation hut.
9th station? Kana
There is no water place.
There is a toilet. It's a pot.
It is a board that has become slightly U-shaped.
Rain and wind can be prevented.
Even in August it is around 10 degrees at night.
It doesn't take 60 minutes from here to the summit

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are a lots of blossom of Shirane Aoi near the this mountain hut in early July or late June. You could enjoy the landscape of beautiful group of flower and Mt.Iwate in the background.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is another hut just near to the one on the 8th station. It takes about 10 min to walk here. Unfortunately there is no water fountain here. But you might consider if the other one is too crowded. Just before this hut the road is split into two. The right one goes to the top of the Iwate san. I didn’t go to the Fududaira though.
