★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 加須市騎西の玉敷神社を総本社とし、元荒川流域に分布する久伊豆神社の一社。近代社格では村社。江面村の鎮守。古くは、本社の玉敷神社、岩槻と越谷の久伊豆神社と共に四大久伊豆神社の一つに数えられたという。現在の社殿はそれほど豪壮ではなく、本殿も覆屋の中で確認できないのだが、整備・清掃の行き届いた境内からは、現在も崇敬の篤さが伺える。

説明板にあるように、獅子舞の歴史はかなり古いようです。
これからも大切にお祀りして欲しいです。
エヅラと言うと、ヘブライ聖書にエズラ記というのがありました。
歴史はいろいろ想像させてくれます。
