★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 森河内の北端、旧長瀬川の南側にある圓通寺は、壽量山と号する融通念仏宗の寺院で、大阪市平野区にある本山大念仏寺の末寺にあたります。寺には本堂のほか、地蔵堂・観音堂があって観音堂に安置されている十一面観世音菩薩像は、聖徳太子作と言い伝えられています。
また圓通寺には、鎌倉時代の阿弥陀三尊来迎図が残されています。この来迎図は、東大阪市内に残る数少ない鎌倉時代仏画の一つで、昭和60年1月23日(1985年)に貴重な仏教絵画として、東大阪市文化財保護条例により指定を受けています。
