★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 開創は古く、平安後期といわれております。明治初期、現在地に真言宗智山派の直末寺として中興開山。本尊は、 延命地蔵菩薩であり、丈三尺位の塑像で平安末期頃の作、国宝級と言われています。脇仏としてマリア観音像が安置されており、墓地内には支倉六右衛門常長 の墓があります。
The wound was old and is said to be in the late Heian period. In the early Meiji era, the temple was opened as a direct temple of the Shingon Buddhist Chiyama school. The principal image is the Enmei Jizo Bodhisattva, a statue of about 3 shaku in length, made around the end of the Heian period, and is said to be a national treasure. The statue of Maria Kannon is enshrined as a side Buddha, and there is a tomb of Hasekura Tsunenaga in the graveyard.
