★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 朝来市生野町口銀谷〔延応寺〕の鐘楼のそばに〔蓑塚〕と呼ばれる碑が建っており、
芭蕉翁
と刻まれている。芭蕉の蓑の一部を埋めたとされる塚。芭蕉が元禄７年１０月大阪で客死したとき、遺品を弟子がもらっており、その一部と推測される。来迎寺にも〔蓑塚〕があり、そのいきさつを記した説明板が建っている。

Basho Okina
It is engraved. A mound that is supposed to fill a part of Basho's Mino. When Basho died in October 2007 in Osaka, the disciple got the artifacts, which is presumed to be part of it. There is also [Minetsuka] in the Yogaji temple, and an explanatory board describing the statement is built.
