The fifth bridge (where people and cars can cross) counting from the mouth of the Sumida River. The shape of the bridge is an arch bridge.
It seems to be an old iron bridge along with Kiyosubashi, but personally it has 5 lanes, but it is characteristic that it has a signal that the number of up and down lines changes depending on the time of day.

An iron bridge over the Sumida River. The length of the bridge is 184.7 m and connects Saga, Koto-ku and Shinkawa, Chuo-ku. The Tokyo Sky Tree can be seen in the distance upstream of the bridge, and Tsukuda's tower condominiums can be seen downstream.
There are 5 lanes between the sidewalks on both the upstream and downstream sides, and the middle lane switches between Otemachi and Kasai depending on the traffic volume.
It is a historical eternal bridge built in the Edo period, but the current iron bridge started construction in December 1923 (Taisho 12) and was completed in December 1926 (Taisho 15). A certain bridge has been designated as a national important cultural property along with Kachidoki Bridge and Kiyosu Bridge, which also span the Sumida River in June 2007.
The heavy appearance with a large amount of large rivets has a beautiful arch, and it is a bridge that you will never get tired of seeing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love bridges (bias disclaimer).
I have a web page on my site dedicated to the Bridges of the Sumida River.
The 永代橋 Eitai Bridge (rebuilt 1923-1926 after the Great Tōkyō Earthquake) has had a number of incarnations with associated histories. A catastrophic collapse in 1807 on a popular shrine festival day resulted in great loss of life.
The rebuilt bridge was later renewed in 1897 becoming the first iron bridge in Japan.
It is strikingly lit at night.
The East end of the bridge is just a short walk from the Tomioka Hachiman Shrine which has monuments to the greats of Grand Sumo Wrestling.
