直	直さま on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 国道58号からこのお寺までの道のりは狭いのですれ違いは出来ませんが、急なカーブがないので安心です。山門の前と横に駐車場がありますが思っていたよりも広いです。山門の前(少し離れた所)にメタセコイアの木が高々とそびえ立っています。山門は思っていたよりもシンプルな作りですが、良く見ると、手が込んでいます。全体的に太い材が使われていますが、冠木がとても太く重厚です。正面には唐破風があり、その上の瓦には、三つ葉葵の家門がありとても重厚間があります。唐破風がある山門を私ははじめて見ました。色々な木があり、鳥のさえずりが気持ち良かったです。令和元年11月17日に再度訪れました。メタセコイヤの木は少し黄色くなっていました。もう少ししたら黄金色になると思いますが、見れなくて残念でしたが、本堂の前の右側と山門の左側にニオイヒバの木があります。(山門の左側の方が大きい) 私ははじめて見ましたが、ヒノキによくにています。葉っぱに芳香があり、葉の裏側の違いもありますが、幹(樹皮)が、ヒノキのようには、ささくれておらず、杉のように、しまっているのがこの木の特長です。私が見た感想ですが、ヒノキよりかわいい佇まいです。 The road from National Highway No. 58 to this temple is narrow, so you can't pass each other, but you can rest assured that there is no steep curve. There were various trees and the birdsong was pleasant. I revisited on November 17th. The metasequoia tree was a little yellow. I think that it will become golden after a while, but I was sorry that I could not see it, but there is a scented tree on the right side in front of the main hall and the left side of the gate. (The left side of the mountain gate is larger) I saw it for the first time, but I'm good at cypress. Although the leaves are fragrant and there are differences on the backside of the leaves, the trunk (bark) is not like a cypress, but it is like a cedar. As I saw, it looks cute than cypress.
濱	濱乃翔穏 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 太平山栄泉寺は、奈良時代の718年に開創された曹洞宗の古刹で、森町でも最古クラスの寺院です。境内に入ると、なんと言っても巨大なメタセコイアが目につきます。単なる伝説かも知れませんが、戦国時代、信玄との戦から逃げる途中、栄泉寺に逃げ込んだ家康は急いで髪を剃って俄坊主となり、和尚と一緒にお経を読み、敵の目を欺いて助かったそうです。そのとき、家康は和尚に「太平に暮らすことが出来るように」との意味で、「太平山」の山号を与えたそうです。三倉川にかかる県道58号線の橋を渡ってすぐ北に入り口がありますが、わかりにくいので近づいたら速度を落としてください。 Taiheiyama Eisenji is an ancient temple of the Soto sect that was founded in 718 during the Nara period, and is one of the oldest temples in Morimachi.
