J	Joe Ma on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dormy inn is always one of my selection to stay while visiting Japan. Reasonable price with great location. As well as hot spring on top floor from the moment you check in until 9am in the morning. Free bowl of ramen per guest from somewhere between 9:00 - 11pm. Convenience store and a few restuarant right across the street. ¥700 Parking for hotel guest right outside of the building. It has it all???

Having a washing machine was a godsend. ***ager/ service crew greet us at the door to welcome us at 9pm. The balcony was a nice touch.

V	Villagemayor on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall a highly recommended for a few reasons: 1. Free shuttle from the train station to the hotel during the peak hours. A regular taxi ride cost 1000 Yen so you automatically save. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel that takes you to the train station. 2. Hotel is convenient to Hirosaki Castle and the surrounding landmarks. The area is relatively safe but the entertainment district is to the east of the hotel. The side streets have little lighting so night time might feel apprehensive. 3. Because apples are famous here, they offer free apple juice when you check in. They also have free coffee as well. 4. The usual free soba (ramen) at night and free use of onsen facilities. The onsen is really nice and there is an outdoor pool as well. 5. Rooms are spacious so you don't feel cramped. The view isn't terrible given the hotel is on a corner lot.
G	Gros Porc Belge Frites on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rooms are spacious, the bathroom is really nice and the bed is comfortable. There is an onsen in the last floor which is quite good. But I regret that they have such a strong policy against tattoos and I had to put patches to cover them which are provided if you ask for it.
