About Don Quijote Kyōto Avanti Store

お近くの店舗スタッフにお申し付けください。
防犯登録をしますと、盗難などの被害にあった場合、取り戻しやすくなります。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A place where you find everything you need! Just be prepared with enough cash and patience to look around and actually buy things you need. This is especially wonderful for travellers looking for souvenirs to bring home. It is advisable to go during the early hours of the day while you still have energy. Don't forget also to wear rubber shoes. ;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Generally I like to shop at Donki throughout Japan but this time I bought a few items and found them in another non-Donki store and was half the price! I couldn't exchange, price match or return the items since they were food items. Be a smart shopper! They are not the cheapest but just covenient and have lots of items!!

Tons of stuff are sold inside...from normal to weird
But what I found to be special for donki here in Kyoto is that they have a special row just for all matcha confectionary stuff
A whole row of it
And you have to buy whatever you can find here because I found out each region produce their own confectionary that can't be found in other region
For example, you can't find Kyoto ones in Osaka or Kobe...it's exclusive to Kyoto only
So, if you see something you like here, you have to buy it here

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the well-known biggest store chain in Japan. Located in the Avanti department store. They sell many varieties of goods such as electronics, cosmetics, households, fashion goods etc. The price is so so but if you looking for the “one stop” for shopping. This is the place for you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Discount mall at Kyoto Avanti level 3. Huge collection of all kind of products you may or may not need. Some are at very good discount (e.g., branded bags, suitcases...); some are more expensive (e.g., Bose, Dyson...). But it’s at a very convenient place, right opposite Kyoto station. Worth for last min shopping. Google translate to communicate with staffs.

It sells everything - electronics , cosmetics , medicines , toys, bags , snacks and even adult stuff. It is next to hotel , bus and train station. Too convenient to shop and overspend your budget .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As usual, a place in Japan where you can experience all of the crazy stuff there is to offer to tourist. The prices in Don Quijote is as always freaking cheap! This is actually one of the smallest branches that I’ve visited so far but still you can get a wide variety of things that you might need or want!
