Like every DU I've been to, many used CDs are overpriced compared to Bookoff but they have more hard to find (for Japan) items in many more styles of music. Pretty well organized within their somewhat odd music catagories. Always find treasures.

The vinyl section has Western and Japanese rock and pop, punk, prog, jazz, blues, soul and world music. Prices range from less than ¥1,000 for common titles to more than ¥20,000 for rarities. One of my favorite music stores in Tokyo.

Only problem is.... spent too much. But I came away with a bag full of goodies. Some things you just cannot get in the UK. And it feels kind of weird shopping for discs at 8pm on a Sunday evening. A happy, if not skint, customer. Happy to return, but I daren't.

They are not so known for carrying a lot of Jazz or world music, but that's why I intentionally frequent this location to look for overlooked items. Their class Jazz annex is just down the street, and at that location, I have found some rare records. The place is like a library, from the new to the old, I find so much music I have never even heard of. I love coming here for that.
