I’ve never tried a Chicago style pizza so my opinion is purely based on my experience here. Both the vegetarian tomato base one and the creamy chicken one were full of flavor. I thought the tomato one was underdone but I’m not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to be. Popular place so be ready to wait or book!

I have had deep dish pizza in Chicago and didn't find it that great. The pizza here was different from what I had in Chicago. It was ok but I prefer pizza done the traditional Italian way. The topping is more like a stew with the base a thin crust. Having said that, the beer here is great and the staff were friendly and helpful. Do note that everyone has to purchase a drink if they dine here. I have never come across such a policy anywhere in the world!

Amazing Chicago style pizza. First time trying this style and highly recommend anyone in Tokyo looking for good pizza check this place out. The earliest reservation we would get was around 9pm (pre-pandemic). This place was just fully booked out with local salary men

A great, cozy pub with a lot of atmosphere. They brew their own beer and have plenty on tap. But for me the important part is their a Chicago-style deep dish pizza, which is impressive. The texture is excellent and the toppings are heavy. If you miss Chicago or want to try something new it is worth a visit.

We didn’t have any drinks, only pizza, so that’s what I’ll be reviewing. There are things I really like about this place. The overall vibe is fantastic. It feels a lot like an urban American brewery, but it’s stacked up on itself in true Tokyo form. Every inch of this place has been maximized for use. There’s even a table for two halfway up the staircase between the first and second floors. I also really like the way the pizza looks. It looks like it’s going to be amazing. The staff and service was also really great! Now on to the downers. The pizza was decent. I’m used to Chicago deep dish pizza that’s... deeper? I would have liked more toppings and cheese. There is actually an option where you can shell out more money for more toppings, but the pizza was already pretty pricey (¥3300ish). Perhaps the mega price version is a lot better. The crust was also okay. Just not as dense and buttery as I was expecting. Compared to other Tokyo pizza we’ve had, this place was actually pretty good. Just go in understanding that it’s not the all-out deep dish assault you’ll experience in America. Another disappointment was that they forgot to add the pepperoni to one of the pizzas, but still charged us ¥500 for it. It really would have been better with pepperoni. I want to like this place, though. Maybe we came on an off day.

Good atmosphere, ok craft beer selection but the “deep dish pizza more like cheap dish pizza”-GN

This is a great place for pizza and beer lovers. Our expectations were tempered a bit by some of the critical reviews (as well as the somewhat passive-aggressive management responses), but our experience was great. The Abe Froman Chicago Style pizza and the Buffalo Chicken Deep Dish were both very tasty. No issues with crust or ingredients, as some others have critiqued. We also loved the beer! We tried a variety, including the cider and enjoyed it all! Service was friendly/average and the layout of the restaurant was warm. Prices are a bit high, but that’s true in most of Central Tokyo.

Delicious deep dish pizza paired with craft beers makes Devil Craft one of my favorite spots in Tokyo. The Kanda location consists of four (?) floors—bottom floor is a bar with the next three consisting of four to five tables per floor. Of the Devil Craft locations, this one is a little tight in terms of space but it is located in a great neighborhood and the staff are friendly.
