Those are tourist traps that pass of badly fried junk food and kushi katsu. Go to this place. The skewers are absolutely amazing. Served in Omakase format during dinner, you have the most well-prepared skewers of fried food ever. Herring eggs on kelp. Enoki mushroom wrapped in thinly sliced pork, such that when you bite into it, you might think that it was a piece of scallop. Prawns so fresh they come from a tank on the counter. Corn, sliced, battered and fried. Egg tofu with fish roe inside. Bittergourd thinly sliced and put together for texture, paired with a small slice of ham. Vegetables so fresh it felt that they just harvested it from the back of the restaurant. Surely, one of the best kushi katsu places I've ever had.
