１９６７年に大昭和製紙の中核工場として操業。東北の豊富な木材や仙台港から陸揚げされた原料と阿武隈川の水を使って製造を続け、合併により現日本製紙の工場となりました。

You can enjoy a powerful view of the factory from the bicycle path on the Abukuma River embankment. You can see the rusty skeleton facility and the huge drainage pool up close.
Operated as a core factory of Daishowa Paper in 1967. We continued manufacturing using the abundant wood from Tohoku, the raw materials landed from Sendai Port, and the water from the Abukuma River, and the merger made it the current Nippon Paper Industries factory.
