Mother Odai, who continued to love Ieyasu until his death, founded Yakushi Nyorai, who prayed for a safe birth, in 1543, the year after Ieyasu was born (1543). At the highest point of the cemetery is a tombstone that is said to have buried the hair of the great lord.

Forest Tomb Garden, the hometown of Soto Sect Oizumiji Temple. Even though it's a temple, you don't have to convert, or you can ask Dankeji to make a memorial service. A temple related to Tokugawa. I feel a little better when I go. And above all, the location is very good. I will take care of the grave from now on. November 14, 3rd year of Reiwa I called Oizumiji Temple and received a red stamp. If you call the chief priest on what day you will visit, you can give it to the priest at Oizumiji Temple.

This temple was founded by Ieyasu Tokugawa's mother, Odai no kata, in 1543, the year after Ieyasu was born, with Yakushi Nyorai as the principal idol. And at the highest point of the graveyard, there is a tombstone that says that the large hair was buried. In other words, is it the temple of my mother's love that Ieyasu built when Ieyasu was born? However, Odai was at the mercy of the era of power struggle. Even so, he was a mother who continued to love his child Ieyasu, who had died, until his death. Ieyasu, who won the battle of Sekigahara and became a world-renowned man, proceeded with the reconstruction of Kyoto Fushimi Castle and called Odai nearby. Then, in August 1602, he was taken care of by his child at Fushimi Castle and died for 75 years. Six months later, on February 12, 1603, Ieyasu was appointed as Shogun General, Minister of the Right, etc. at Fushimi Castle and opened the Edo Shogunate. He carried his mother's corpse to Edo according to his will, cremated it at Chikoji Temple in Otsuka Town, and placed the mortuary tablet at Anrakuji Temple (Gamagori City, Aichi Prefecture), and Kodake Temple (Sekiyado Town, Chiba Prefecture → Noda). Bodaiji Temple was built in various places such as the city. Ieyasu buried his mother's remains in the land of Koishikawa and built a tomb that remains to this day. Jukyoji Temple was relocated there and a temple was built, and it came to be called "Denzuin" from her legal name "Denzuin Temple Honorary Mt. Tekari Chika Daizen Nun". (Mugenzan Denzuin Jukyoji Temple) There was a signboard for "Denzuin Odai no kata Koden" in front of the tombstone, but it was very dirty and the difference between light and shadow made it difficult to see the photo. I'm sorry.
