G	Gnay Aij Iahc on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recommend to go if there is nothing else to do. Can observe the way wasabi is grown, and buy many wasabi flavoured or themed items. A little far from the closest station though. I really like the apple soft serve here, strangely enough.
E	Esther on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a must see but interesting if you are around Azumino. There are some explanations about its culture but nothing about its transformation after harvest. Very disappointed about Wasabi icecream and Wasabi croquette which were tasteless. It just has green color but no wasabi taste .

Whilst there isn't much in the way of educational material for English speakers, the Daio Wasabi Farm is simply a beautiful place to wander around. Do seek out the waterwheels by a stream which is postcard perfect, long water weeds waving in the crystal clear water. There are also some interesting wasabi based food options and snacks to buy. It wasn't what we were expecting, but well worth the visit.

I went the first weekend of November, just as they switched over to winter hours, so they close at 4:30 about 2 hours earlier than in summer, which is just as well since it's dark by 5:00. There's more to the place than just the farm and gift shop, they also have a restaurant, shrine, and museum. Unfortunately since I went late in the day I wasn't able to explore these places as much. Also I wasn't able to get raw wasabi, so go earlier if you want to buy some! They had minced wasabi paste for sale among other wasabi flavored goods. I was able to buy the wasabi ice cream! It's not spicy so much as it is herbal, kind of like mint, and it is sweet. Honestly you can tell they used real plants to make it because it tastes so much like "plant". The fields near the entrance were nearly bare but the ones towards the back were lush and green. The shades we're also drawn back so, I've heard that makes for a good photo. You can't walk next to the wasabi, you just look at it.

I liked being able to sit and enjoy the sights and smells of nature. The various Wasabi inspired foods were great and tasted amazing. It was all free to just walk around and enjoy the site. The food was cheap and very reasonable. The taste was just amazing.

D	Dan Barbella on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The area was very nice to walk around for about 45 minutes. I’d recommend stopping by to try a few of the wasabi treats. My favorite was the wasabi beer and the wasabi ice cream. I’d go for the expensive option for the ice cream as it comes with a bit of wasabi to mix with every bite. Definitely the best ice cream that I’ve ever had. I also tried the croquette but, even though it was nice, it didn’t have a lot of a wasabi taste. The surrounding area is very nice in the autumn and one of the better wasabi farms to visit.
