★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1971年4月1日、名目統合により発足。当時の安中市内の中学校は第一中学校と第二中学校の２つになりました。
大まかに言うと安中地区、岩野谷地区、板鼻地区、秋間地区、東横野の一部が第一中学校になり、
原市地区、磯部地区、後閑地区、
東横野の一部が第二中学校になったらしい。
私の通っていた安中市立碓東中学校は安中市立第一中学校碓東教場となりました。なんか違和感ありました。
名目上の安中１中の第一回卒業生が私達の年代で、実質上の第一回の卒業生が３学年下の妹の年代でした。
皆で協力しあって活気のある、ご近所さんに可愛がられる中学校にしていってもらいたいと思います。
自転車ぐらい文句言われないで乘れなくっちゃだめだよ。
尚、元駐米大使の大河原良雄さんはこの近くの安中市中宿の出身です。

Annaka Municipal Usuto Junior High School, which I attended, became Annaka Municipal Daiichi Junior High School Usuto Kyojo. There was something wrong with it.
The first graduate of the nominal Annaka 1 was our age, and the actual first graduate was the age of our younger sister, who was three years younger.
