The poem, Mt. Potalaka and Mt. Nakaharu, to the 33rd moon. Daifukukoji is a temple of the Shingon sect Omuro school located in Shimoyama, Kyotamba Town. Minenobu of Kurama-dera Temple in Kyoto opened during the Enryaku era (782-805), but Takauji Ashikaga, who has a deep connection with Tamba, moved to his present location and was worshiped as a prayer place for the Ashikaga Shogunate. The principal image is Bishamonten, and since this area is called Warabimura, it is also called Bishamonten of Warabi. The main hall and the Tahoto (stupa) are designated as national important cultural properties. In addition, the paper book ink book Hojoki of the temple treasure belongs to the oldest manuscript of Kamo no Chomei's "Hojoki" and is designated as an important cultural property (deposited at the Kyoto National Museum). In addition, it is a famous temple that holds many temple treasures. It's about a 20-minute walk from Shimoyama Station on the JR San-in Line, but it's better to drive on Route 27. Right next to Daifukukoji Temple is the Watanabe family residence, which is also designated as an important cultural property.

A beautiful temple located at the starting point of the Tamba Wide Area Forest Road (total length 65 km). Forest roads are beautiful as well as temples, so I want them to be open to general vehicles (at your own risk)

I stopped by to see the main hall and the Tahoto of the Important Cultural Property, but no one lived there. It's a temple related to Takauji Ashikaga. However, it didn't look rough at all and the site was clean and very comfortable. However, there was no parking lot and it was not popular with the surroundings, so I stopped at the street and visited. It's like a luxury that such a magnificent temple looks like a children's park. It is a feeling that you can never taste in a temple with many people.

This time, enter the Tamba wide area trunk forest road from the end point side and this is the goal point. It's a hassle to get a permit, but it's worth running on a 60km flat forest road. Greetings with gratitude for being able to reach the goal safely. It is also the starting point of the main forest road. You can't run without getting permission and borrowing the key. It's a hassle to get permission. I ran only once, but I want it to be open to the public if possible. The mix of paved road and dirt was interesting and the scenery was very good.

It is said that Takauji Ashikaga, who had a territory in Tanba Province, moved to this area and built it. The Tahoto, which was built in the latter half of Kamakura, has a bright vermilion color and is very beautiful. The main hall, Bishamon-do, which was built around the same time, is not so big, but it is a magnificent building with cypress bark. It is a historic building built 700 years ago, so I hope it will continue to be maintained.
