味もお世辞にも全くおいしくなかった。量も子供用かと思うほどの量で値段に釣り合わずがっかりして店をでた。
ちょっと聞きたいことがあり店員に話しかけたが、店長のような女性は、答え方も紋切り型で人当たりも悪く、絶対二度といかないと誓った。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 近くに仕事に来て飲食店が無く、沢ノ町駅まで来てやっと見付けたお店です。喫茶店ですがランチメニューもありました。ランチはハンバーグ、揚げもの、スパゲッティ類などが多いカンジで値段はちょっと高めで900円でした。 あと店内喫煙オッケーがちょっと残念。

昔ながらの、新聞を読みながらタバコを吸うおじさん達の憩いの場的な喫茶店。ホットケーキセットを注文。
ホットケーキというより、スポンジケーキのようなふわふわ感。
最近よくあるメレンゲたっぷりの、すぐに崩れそうなジュワジュワっとしたパンケーキとは違い、しっかりしているのにフワフワ。
メープルシロップをかけたら、すぐに生地に吸い込まれて行く。
こういうシンプルなホットケーキが一番美味しい。

12時過ぎのランチタイムでしたが、待たずに入れました。
カニクリームコロッケとエビフライのランチを注文。
程なくして料理が出てきました。
カニクリームコロッケは熱々、エビも大きめのものが乗っていました。
さらに唐揚げまで1個ついていました。
ご飯は写真の通り大盛り(コレがデフォルト)で食べ応えも十分。
※隣の席で、店員が女性のお客さんに対して「女性のご飯は少なめに入れていますから、少なければお声掛けください」と伝えているのを耳に挟みました。
閑散とした街並みの中に活気あるお店で好感をもてました。

メニューが豊富で味も何を食べても美味しくボリュームもあり低価格で、なにより愛煙家の肩身が狭くなったこのご時世に席でタバコが吸えるのがとてもありがたいです。
美味しいコーヒーが飲みたくて立ち寄ったり、友人とおしゃべりするのに利用したり、美味しいランチを安くお腹いっぱい食べたい時、駅を降りてすぐなので旅行帰りの休憩にと、しょっちゅう利用させてもらってます。
昔ながらの雰囲気も落ち着きがあり、ゆっくりとした時間を過ごせます。
