諸説ありますが、ここも奥の細道の句ゆかりの地
俳句が盛んだった泊の俳人たちによって、明治時代に置かれたものらしい。
門人曽良この地を歩いたことは、随行日記で確認できます。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 富山県朝日町元屋敷に芭蕉句碑が建っている。〔あいの風とやま鉄道〕の踏切を越えて東側に行ったところ。
わせの香や分入右ハありそ海 芭蕉翁
文政元年（１８１８）建立の碑で、高さ２．１㍍。道路際に案内の標柱が建っている。元禄２年（１６８９）〔奥の細道〕の旅で富山湾を詠んだ句。
A memorial monument is erected in the former residence of Asahi Town, Toyama Prefecture. I went to the east side crossing [Aino-kaze and Yama Railway] crossing.

It is a monument erected at the beginning of Bunsei (1818) and is 2.1 meters high. A guide post is built along the road. It is a phrase that admires Toyama Bay on a trip to Genroku 2 (1689).
