忠次とは現在この地の地名となっていますが、元々は海だったこの場所を忠次さんが埋め立て新田を開いたことが由来です
豊作を願って農耕神であるお稲荷様を勧請したのは当然でした
現在では完全に工業地帯となっており田畑など皆無になってしまいましたが、変わらずこの地を鎮めて下さっています
