★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 三河では紫陽花寺として有名です。場所が分かりづらく、道も凄く狭いです。駐車場も3台ぐらいしか置けません。規模は小さいけど、紫陽花は綺麗でした。
In Mikawa, it is famous as Hydrangea Temple. The location is difficult to understand and the road is very narrow. There are only about 3 parking lots. Although the scale is small, the hydrangeas were beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 安城市の長福寺。浄土宗の寺とのことだが、寺院としての来歴はよくわからないが､アジサイが素晴らしい。油が渕公園の西岸では応仁寺のハナショウブを見てきたが､その足で東岸のここではアジサイを楽しむことができる。
アジサイで有名な寺は県内にも幾つもあるが､規模的にはそれほど大きくはないものの､そのどれよりも丁寧によく手入れされ綺麗に咲き揃っている。
木立の中の日蔭がちな寺が多い中､開けた明るい境内を持つのはここ以外では県内では安穏寺ぐらいだろうか。種類も多く､アジサイをみながら本堂の周りを１周できる。
今年はコロナの関係で祭りは見送られたようだが､花は見事に咲いている。誰もおらず､ご朱印も頂けなかったが､手入れをされている方にはお礼を申し上げるとともに､ますます一層このお寺が皆に愛されていくように心からお祈り申し上げたい。ありがとうございました。
Chofukuji Temple in Anjo City. It is said that it is a temple of the Jodo sect, but the history as a temple is not clear, but the hydrangea is wonderful. I have seen the iris of Oninji Temple on the west bank of Yubuchi Park, but you can enjoy hydrangea here on the east bank with your feet.
There are many temples famous for hydrangea in the prefecture, but although they are not so large in scale, they are better maintained and in full bloom than any of them.
While there are many temples that tend to be shaded in the grove, the only temples in the prefecture that have open and bright precincts are Anzanji. There are many types, and you can go around the main hall while watching the hydrangea.
It seems that the festival was shelved this year due to the corona, but the flowers are in full bloom. Nobody was there and I couldn't get the red stamp, but I would like to thank those who have taken care of it and pray from the bottom of my heart that this temple will be loved by everyone. Thank you very much.
