境内にある「倉稲魂神碑」は、秋田市指定有形民俗文化財。以前この地には大倉庫が建ち並んでいた。この中には石倉と言われた籾蔵があり、そこでこぼれた米や籾の供養のためにこの碑を建てたそう。また、競泳で活躍した秋田市出身の長崎宏子さんを称える標柱もありました。
