★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place. Food is good and healthy. Coffee is great. The place is a reformed warehouse full of plants, books, old furniture and relaxing music.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shin-Kiba has an old industrial and I thought, charmless area, but if you have another reason to be there, then this is a great café-cum-antique furniture store. We commute past this station so the trip was effectively free and nearby. The converted factory is really photogenic inside and out, it has plenty of wooden tables and antiques: where else would you see an entire herd of wooden Hokkaido bear-with-salmon carvings?
The lunch is light and healthy, we enjoyed home made ginger ale and ginger chai, it was well air-conditioned, and the free wireless internet was amazingly fast.

It is tucked away in an "off" street but it is worth the walk/drive
It had a very unique environment, a "library" feel and a gift shop feel. All very separated. We had a local with us so language wasn't an issue but looking around we started talking to the staff and they spoke enough to have a very nice conversation :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s an interesting space, but you’ll need to look at the photos to see if it’s worth the trip out of Tokyo. They do have some parking, if you follow the signage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nested in very industrial area, Casica is a antique furniture store combined with a cafe that serves healthy food. The curry we ordered was made with some Chinese herbs, and it was really delicious. Although the place is very spacious, there are limited seats for the cafe so you might have to wait for awhile to get seated. Its full with wooden furniture, plants, and household goods. The atmosphere is amazing here.
