C	Curious George on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ご夫婦で営んでいらっしゃる、隠れ家的というか、宝物のような喫茶店。どうやって作ったのだろう、この丸い天井。。。この周辺はBS11やトラットリアレモンなど、なぜか丸天井の建造物が散見されますね。山の上ホテルの内装も素敵だし、古本屋さんのみならず歴史ある建築をめぐって散歩するのも楽しい区画。生花を飾っているお店は間違いないと思っているのですが、やはりここも間違いなかった。珈琲を注文すると、濃いめか中間か薄めか好みを聞かれます。他に1組のお客さんがいましたが、注文してから出てくるのが早かったです。奥の席でお店を眺めながら淹れたて珈琲を啜ります。後で来た女性客も空間を楽しみたいのか、別のお客さんが去った後奥の席に移動していました。時世柄、帰り際にわざわざ消毒を勧めて「気をつけて」とお声をかけてくださいました。お年も召していらっしゃるので、私のような常連でもない者がお客さんとして訪問するのもあんまり良くないのかなあ、と複雑な気持ちになりましたが、それでも常連さんのためなのでしょうか、その場で何年、何十年とお店を営んでこられたご夫婦の、毎日店を開けよう、という気概のようなものを感じ、心が波打ちました。 A coffee shop run by a married couple, like a hideaway or a treasure.
