1	1969 nobu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 久しぶりにランチへ。ペッパーバーグをいただきました。あれ？ハンバーグの形状が変わってる。以前より球状に。中身も肉肉しさが減り、良く練り込まれた柔らかな食感に。以前はブラックペッパーもこれでもかってぐらいでしたが控えめに。まあ、これはこれで美味しくはありましたが、ちょっとイメージ変わったかな。接客は相変わらず良いです。 I went to lunch for the first time in a long time. Y	Yee Lu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty good hamburg steak! It's similar to Bikkuri Donkey (Surprised Donkey) but the quality of beef, seasoning, and menu is a little different. I had my hamburg cooked medium rare and it was pretty tasty. I think this restaurant is only available in Nagoya. I'm glad my friends brought me here. It does get busy, so be prepare to wait.
D	Duckbutcher on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had some big issues with this place. First, the not so bad stuff. The food was edible, and the staff were very friendly and attentive, though this could have been the result of one of the issues we had. Also they have a bit of a Beatles fixation, there are posters all over the place and the music was wall to wall Beatles. That’s fine for me but if you happen to dislike the Beatles it’ll most likely drive you mad. I can’t imagine what it would be like if I was trying to eat in a place that had nothing but Abba on repeat. Anyway, our major issue started before we were even seated - we were passed over on the waiting sheet. Apparently, as people added their names to the list and the list got longer, they added a new sheet and the assistant only looked at the new sheet and we were skipped over. If we hadn’t said something they wouldn’t have noticed. We had been waiting more than half an hour at this point. I do believe it was an honest mistake, but the staff should be aware of these things. The staff apologized profusely and were extremely nice to us afterwards, which was something at least. After ordering, we had to wait almost another half hour for the food to arrive. By all means if you want to wait for over an hour for what amounts to an average beef burger on some onions which is laughably sold as a “Hamburg steak”, go ahead. I know Japan has a problem with selling bland foreign food like it’s something special (see Spam), but this takes the prize. Rubbish.
