Has a wide range of Japanese handcrafts, pottery, wood toys and bowls, weaving, japanese baskets, leather purses, paper, small selection of shibori fabrics and sashiko. Its not cheap but they have a nice selection and good quality. If you are into weaving worth a visit they are beautiful with small to large pieces and prices. In terms of pottery I would go to Yanaka there is a big pottery shop there that has a big range in price as well as quality. Unfortunately the staff at Bingoya do not speak much English.

This place has five floors of beautiful traditional craftwork. If you want to see authentic Tokyo, go here. They have everything from traditional toys and figurines to pottery (cups, sake bottles, bowls, etc.) To scarves to couch cushions. It's a wee bit expensive, but if you're a tourist or just someone who really appreciated some fine craftsmanship, go here and take a look. Beautiful, beautiful store.

Great place to do some actual shopping for crafts. Beautiful work, good selection, reasonable price ranges. You can get quality paper/cards, small ceramics, chopsticks, etc for under ¥1000. And there’s some great work—ceramics, wall hangings, clothes, toys/statuettes—in the ¥1000-¥10000 range, and up from there.

Great shop with Japanese Hand crafts. I found the shop by accident but I have really found nice things. If you are in the vicinity you should visit the shop

Amazing place with every Japanese form of art; paper, pottery, woodwork, textiles. All the work is amazing, it is pricey but well worth the trip.

Must visit if you’re visiting Japan and willing to shop the very best craft forms all the country at the right cost. It’s a little far from Shinjuku but really worth a visit.

Four floors of beautifully curated craft art from Japan from paper boxes to clay toys, from hand dyed fabric to ceramic ware, every item is well made and represent the highest craft of it’s kind in Japan. A perfect place to get gifts for someone who is creative. The staff is very friendly and speak English pretty well.

Don't expect an english fluent staff member around every corner, but honestly, expecting that while in another country is kind of crazy anyway. Great wares in here though, fine craftsmanship. Worth checking out.
