★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 階段を登ったてっぺんにある神社です。
温泉街やロープウェイや山や川が見えて、見晴らし抜群でした。
この辺の温泉旅館の共同提携駐車場のすぐ近くに入口があるので、体力がある人は登ってみるといいと思います。
天気のいい日にこちらに上がると、温泉街に来れた有り難さというか不思議な感謝の気持ちがわいてきました。
いい場所でしたよ。

I could see the hot spring town, the ropeway, the mountains and the river, and the view was excellent.
There is an entrance near the joint parking lot of the hot spring inn in this area, so if you have physical strength, you should try climbing.
When I came here on a sunny day, I felt a mysterious feeling of gratitude for coming to the hot spring town.
It was a nice place.

辨財天は元々インドのガンジス河のワニを神格化したバラモン教の神さまで、仏法守護の神さまとして密教に取り入れられて日本にやって来ました。
だからたいていはお寺の池などの水の中に祀られています。
そして江戸時代以前の神仏習合思想により、単独で神社の御祭神として祀られるようにもなりました。福徳を与えてくれる神さまとして人気がありましたから。
そして明治の神仏分離令により神社に祀られていた辨財天は、神仏習合思想により同体とされた安芸の厳島神社の市杵島姫命に置き換えられた所がほとんどです。名前も厳島神社に変わっています。
神社のままで辨財天を祀るのはかなり珍しいのではないでしょうか。
しかも池の中ではなくこんな高台に。
ここが円山川のすぐそばだから、ということでしょうか。
同じ境内には稲荷神社、美保神社(御祭神は不明)、忠魂碑があります。
また、平盛継という平家の武将の墓とされる宝篋印塔も。
登り口の案内板には妙見宮もあることになっていたけど、見当たりませんでした。
最近、この高台の大木の大半を切ってしまったようで、景色を見せるために宗教的な厳かさを破壊するのはどうかと思います。

And, due to the idea of Shinto and Buddhism before the Edo period, it came to be enshrined as a deity of the shrine alone. It was popular as a god who gave good luck.
In most cases, Benzaiten, which was enshrined in the shrine by the Shinto and Buddhist decree of the Meiji era, was replaced by Ichikishimahime of Aki's Itsukushima Shrine, which was made the same body by the Shinto and Buddhist ritual. The name has also changed to Itsukushima Shrine.
Isn't it quite rare to enshrine Benzaiten as it is at a shrine?
Moreover, not in the pond but on such a hill.
Is it because this is right next to the Maruyama River?
Inari Shrine, Miho Shrine (the deity is unknown), and the loyalty monument are in the same precincts.
There is also the Hokyointo, which is said to be the tomb of the Heike warlord named Hiramoritsugu.
There was supposed to be a Myomiya shrine on the information board at the entrance, but I couldn't find it.
It seems that most of the big trees on this hill have been cut recently, and I wonder if it would destroy the religious rigor to show the scenery.
