★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An utterly classic Ginza bar in nearly every way, with the one notable exception that it comes with less of the pretension that can be found in some of its reputedly more illustrious neighbours. You'll often find in Tokyo's bars that the entrance to basement bars is open - not so here. Look for a slim black door, and you'll see the name of the bar.
Friendly, inquisitive staff who will provide a range of suggestions on bases for cocktails to your preference - or make a recommendation of their own. A good old-fashioned and a fine range of whiskies at a beautiful counter bar - very much a Ginza experience and one unlikely to be bettered at many others.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Drinks were great, staff were lovely. We don't speak Japanese so we're not quite sure what the extra charges were but it ended up being really quite expensive! 21,000 yen for 3 people having maybe 3-4 drinks each.
