★ ★ ★ ★ ★ googleMAP上だと如何にも県道8号線から溜池の横を通って行けるかのように案内されるが、道路は展望台600m手前で封鎖されており、封鎖している門の横の林道をぐにゃぐにゃと曲がりくねって行くので700～800mは徒歩で移動する。
実はこちらは駐車場が無い裏ルートで、Googleの罠。
正規ルートは東にある葉山の【こどもの公園】の先にある。
私は全く気が付かずに裏ルートから行ってしまったのだが、勾配がそこそこあり、成人男性ならキツくはないが少し息が上がるくらいには消耗する。
中間地点で葉山の町並みを俯瞰出来るが、柵無しの箇所がある。
普通に歩く分には踏み外す事はないくらいに道幅は確保されているが、雨天時には通りたくないくらいには危ないので、飛び跳ねるような子供は絶対に連れて行かない方がよい。
この展望台は丘の上に10mくらいのでかい櫓を立ててあるので、周りの木に視界を遮られて見えないといった事はほぼ無い。
塩釜・仙台港、松島、大郷、富谷まで完全に360°見渡す事が出来る。
松島近辺の展望台は木々に遮られてイマイチな箇所も多かったが、景色は近隣では大亀山森林公園の次くらいにはいい場所だと思う。
だが、この手の情報はネットで検索しても一切出てこず、如何にもお役所仕事といった感じだ。
作るだけ作って誰にも知られず有効活用していないこういった施設は意外と多い。

The regular route is ahead of Hayama's [Children's Park] in the east.

You can get a bird's-eye view of Hayama at the middle point, but there are places without fences.
The width of the road is secured so that you will not miss it for walking normally, but it is dangerous enough that you do not want to pass in the rain, so it is better not to take children who jump.
This observatory has a huge turret of about 10m on the hill, so it is almost impossible to see it because the surrounding trees obstruct your view.
You can get a complete 360 ° view of Shiogama / Sendai Port, Matsushima, Osato, and Tomiya.
The observatory near Matsushima was often obscured by trees, but I think the scenery is the best place next to Ogameyama Forest Park in the neighborhood.
However, even if I search the internet for this kind of information, it doesn't come out at all, and it feels like a government office job.
Surprisingly, there are many such facilities that are made only by making them and are not known to anyone and are not effectively used.
