★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 参拝客も誰もいなくて、神様とゆっくりと話を出来るのが良いですね。やはり静かな参拝が一番だと思います。
It's good to be able to talk slowly with God without any worshipers. I think quiet worship is the best.

毎年3月には「福島県指定重要無形民俗文化財」になっている船引祭りと巫女舞が開催されています。
I go to Hatsumode with a child every year. As we burn firewood, we count down while warming up. If we go early, it is the first arrival, but we can get small gifts every year.
Every March, the Funabiki Festival and the shrine maiden dance, which are designated as "Fukushima Prefecture Important Important Intangible Folk Cultural Properties", are held.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 春にここの船引き祭りの綱引きに度々参加しています。この綱引きは端から見てると楽しいのですが、実際参加するとめちゃめちゃ疲れます。
毎年綱引きの引き手は不足していますので、やりたい方はどうぞ参加してみて下さい。参加賞はもらえます。
I often participate in tug of war at the burlak festival here in the spring. This tug of war is fun from the edge, but when you actually participate, it gets really tiring.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ３月に行われる伝統行事、舟引き祭りに参加できます。参加者には黄色い手ぬぐいと御饅頭がプレゼントされます。舟引とは、木舟に米俵をのせ東西に分かれ引き合い3回勝負で、東が勝てば「豊作」、西が勝てば「米の値段が上がる」というその年の作柄を占う神事です。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 慧日寺跡をさらに奥に進んだところに鎮座しています。磐梯明神を祀った磐梯神社は、もと慧日寺の鎮守社が起源であり、明治期の廃仏毀釈で慧日寺が廃寺となるとその跡地に神社として独立したようです。
平成10年に慧日寺跡の史跡整備が行われると神社は現在の場所に遷され、その際に社殿が新築されたようです。

Bandai Shrine, which enshrines Bandai Myojin, originally originated from the guardian shrine of Enichiji Temple, and it seems that it became independent as a shrine on the site when Enichiji Temple was abandoned due to the abolition of Buddha in the Meiji era.
When the historic site of the Enichiji Temple was renovated in 1998, the shrine was moved to its current location, and it seems that the shrine was newly built at that time.
