マウンドとベース周り以外はオール人工芝なので走りやすく、イレギュラーバウンドも少ない。
ベース周りの土の範囲も整備が良く凹凸が少ない。
ベンチには屋根もあり、使いやすい。
野球以外の競技のためか？観戦スタンドもあるので、区のお祭りやイベントには必ず使われる。
また、知る人ぞ知る桜の花見の穴場でも有る。
5～7月はグランドの廻り特に北側の散歩道に紫陽花が生い茂ります。遊具の有る公園も有るし土の地面は幼児のお散歩にも良いと思います。
