中塔城跡(山城1250m/450m) 構・土塁・郭・堀城主：西牧氏→二木氏北条城の詰城として築かれた。始めは西牧氏の城であったが、天文年間(1532年〜1555年)頃には小笠原氏の家臣二木氏の城で、天文19年(1550年)甲斐守護武田信玄によって林城を追われた信濃守護小笠原長時が二木重高の勧めで中塔城に一時籠城した。その後、流浪の身となった信濃守護小笠原長時は、越後国の上杉謙信を頼って信濃を離れる事になる。最後の砦として武田氏に抵抗した逸話の残る山城である。標高1250m、松本市内の山城の中で、標高1250mと最も高い位置に立地する天然の要害です。

It is a mountain castle with an anecdote that resisted Mr. Takeda as the last fort. It is a natural fortress located at an altitude of 1250m, which is the highest among the mountain castles in Matsumoto city.

標高1248m、比高約440m 公園奥の林道に獣フェンスあるある橋を越えて２つ目の尾根の前のスペースに車止めれた。コンクリの切れ目から登ると竪堀♪ あとはとことん登るのみヾ(ﾟдﾟ;) 鉄塔あるあるで迷ってないことを確認。さらにｽﾞﾝｽﾞﾝ登ると堀切&竪堀♪ ってゆうか竪堀だらけなんだけど♪ 標高高いだけあって寒い..ってみぞれから雪になった。主郭につくとﾁｮｲ積もった雪が.. こんもり土塁が見える♪ さらに奥はひろーーくてなだらかなトコさらにさらに奥は一騎掛けの細尾根に堀切あった♪ 正確な高度計なるアプリで 1251mを記してる笹ヤブなトコで.. 手足の先っぽの感覚がナイ ((( ；ﾟДﾟ)))ｶﾞｸｶﾞｸﾌﾞﾙﾌﾞﾙ 11月の終わりの山城てっぺんの凍るような冷たさに撤収➰ 遺構は　なよーんとあんまりハッキリとはしなくって想像、妄想で楽しむトコﾀﾞﾄｵﾓｳ　ﾀﾌﾞﾝ　ｷｯﾄ
