★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 正面の門や石段は綺麗になっているが、墓石が並ぶ所は複雑な地形（崖の上だったり林の中だったり）になっており人が歩く道に蜘蛛の巣が張っている。そんな場所だがお墓は年々増え続けているようだ。墓参りでしか訪問した事がなく、本堂等の建物や住職についての評価はできない。
The gates and stone steps in front are beautiful, but the place where the tombstones are lined up is complex terrain (on the cliff or in the forest), and a spider's web is stretched on the way people walk. It seems that the number of graves continues to increase year by year. We have visited only by visiting the grave, and we cannot evaluate the buildings such as the main hall or the resident.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 潟上市飯田川下虻川にある曹洞宗の寺院です。元は他宗の廃寺を八郎潟東部に移し、曹洞宗に改宗開山して東傳寺と公称。正規に開山したのは、慶長6年（1601）と云われます。その後、移転や火災を繰り返し明和元年（1766）に飯田川の山を切り開き現在地に移転しました。
It is a temple of Soto sect in Iidagawa Shimoabagawa, Katakami city. Formerly moved the abandoned temple of another sect to the eastern part of Hachirogata, converted it to the Soto sect and opened the mountain and named it Todenji. It is said that the mountain was officially opened in Keicho 6 (1601). After repeated relocations and fires, the mountain of Iida River was cut open in 1766 and moved to the current location.
