★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to challenge yourself! Get in. Great hike to get there and a peaceful environment despite the presence of others. Match was chilly but it made it more exciting and the light snow made for great pictures in the falls. Bring a towel, pack a lunch, and enjoy the gorge hike in the long way out. I will return and family agrees...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really fun hike! A round trip through the waterfall and rock garden takes about 3 hours at a very slow pace. The scenery is amazing and it’s a refreshing breath of fresh air, very literally, from the hustle and bustle of metropolitan Tokyo. The cable car that takes you up the mountain is an engineering marvel. It’s a 45-degree train that makes me feel like I’m at six flags on a rollercoaster.
