It's not so big as a shrine, but thanks to the locals, such as festivals and Bon Odori, the children seem to have fun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 婦人病にご利益があるそう。静かな住宅街にあり、後ろは公園。本殿横の稲荷様はセミが飛び回り怖かった！鈴ならすと小さな虫が飛び回る。虫嫌いな私は恐々参拝した。セミのいなくなる季節にまたゆっくり参拝したい。
There seems to be a benefit for gynecology. Located in a quiet residential area, behind it is a park. A cicada flew around the Inari-sama next to the main shrine! Small insects fly around when you beat the bells. I hate insects and worried. I want to visit again slowly when the cicada disappears.

古事記によると大国主(オオクニヌシ)の国づくりのサポートに尽力した少彦名命は一寸法師のモデルとも言われている。
この神を祀る淡嶋神社は全国でも数少なく、東京都内では唯一 こちらの町田市根岸に鎮座する淡嶋神社だけのようです。
The deity is Sukuna bi kona Mikoto
According to the Kojiki, the name of Okuninushi, who worked hard to support the nation-building of Okuninushi, is said to be the model of Issunboshi.
There are few Awashima shrines that enshrine this god in Japan, and it seems that only Awashima shrine is located in Negishi, Machida city, in Tokyo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 都心からたどり着ける中で淡島神社とつくのはなかなかなかったのでお参りしました。
横浜線の淵野辺より徒歩15分程度だと思います。
古淵からも多分いけそうですが、そちらからだと20分かそれ以上といったところです。
神社自体はそこまで広くはありませんでしたが
定期的に手入れはされているように見受けられます。節分の後だったからか豆が少し残っていました。
基本的には無人神社なのだと認識しました。
御朱印や御守りの類はないものと思います。
目当てを持って来訪する際はご注意下さい。
It was not easy to get to Awashima Shrine in the middle of the city, so I visited here.
I think it is about 15 minutes on foot from Fuchinobe of Yokohama line.
It is probably going to be from Kobuchi, but from there it is about 20 minutes or more.
The shrine itself was not that wide,
It seems to be regularly groomed. Some beans remained after the Setsubun.
I realized that it was basically an unmanned shrine.
I don't think there is any kind of red seal or talisman.
Please be careful when visiting with your aim.
